Job Title: Team Lead, Workforce Performance Management
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job objective
- To strategically manage and improve all processes and activities involved in the performance management of the entire workforce of the Bank.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and thorough alignment of Staff/function KPIs from the strategic level down to the tactical level of the workforce
- Manage all communications relating to the appraisal process and ensure staff profiles are accurately captured in Infopool
- Conduct performance assessment along agreed KPIs for the Directorates and Divisions
- Co-ordinate the process of appraisals for all other staff
- Continuously initiate and drive improvements to the bank’s appraisal process and performance management system
- Assists with developing and implementing agency performance improvement plans.
- Conduct research into established policy regarding performance management/appraisal practices.
- Provide managers with standard steps they can take to correct employee conduct or performance issues.
- Prepares a summary explanation of staff performance (e.g. staffing, succession planning, training, etc.) for management.
- Administering online quizzes for staff development.
- Analyse and prepare monthly reports for Executive Management
- Provide periodic and ad-hoc sales staff performance reports
Recommended Key Performance Indicators
- Performance Management System – Design and implement a robust Performance Management System in line with changing technology and organisational demands
- KPI Setting and Cascading – For key roles – All Sales, Divisional Heads, Generic Roles • Ensure KPIs are up-to-date and in alignment with current Organisational goals and strategic objectives
- Scheduled Appraisal – Deploy a fair and transparent bi-annual appraisal exercise within the stipulated timelines.
- Change Management – Effectively liaising with relevant stakeholders to conduct pre- and post-appraisal / change management sessions
- Performance Review – Reports to be delivered timely and as per set deadlines agreed with staff. ZERO tolerance for delay without justifiable reasons.
Requirements
- First Degree in any relevant social science degree
- MBA would be an advantage.
- 10 years HR work experience, 3 of which must be in a supervisory role.
- Extensive work experience in Performance Management
