About the Job
- We are seeking for an experienced Accountant with 10+ years of professional accounting and finance experience to join our team in Agbara, Ogun State.
- The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and corporate financial management, with a proven ability to provide strategic financial insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Nigerian financial regulations.
- Provide financial forecasts, cost control, and business insights.
- Supervise junior finance staff and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulators.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional certification (mandatory).
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws & IFRS.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Excel.
- High integrity, analytical ability, and leadership skills.
