Job Title: Networks Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN) within the organization.
• Ensures the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure components.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, and other network appliances.
• Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and associated training for network resource administration and appropriate use.
• Participate in managing all network security solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
• Experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
• Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
• CCNA Professional certification will be an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 – N330,000 Monthly.
