We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Uyo Akwa, Ibom 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Construction Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement the construction execution plan, ensuring ≥95% of scheduled milestones are delivered on time.
  • Supervise daily site operations and coordinate with project controls, design, and procurement for integrated execution.

Contractor and Workforce Management:

  • Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with schedules and standards.
  • Resolve site issues promptly, achieving ≥90% timely resolution of conflicts without project delays.

Quality, Health, and Safety Oversight:

  • Enforce quality standards to ensure 100% compliance with design specs and building codes.
  • Collaborate with HSE to maintain zero fatalities.

Budget and Resource Control:

  • Monitor construction costs to remain within ±5% of approved budget.
  • Validate contractor claims and progress payments, ensuring ≥95% are processed within agreed timelines.
  • Deliver accurate weekly and monthly reports on progress, cost, and risks, with 100% reporting timeliness.
  • Recommend corrective actions to maintain cost, schedule, and quality compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
  • Professional certifications preferred (PMP, CCM).
  • 10+ years in construction management, with ≥5 years in large-scale hospital/healthcare projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
