CVL HR Consulting – Our client is a new training company focused on delivering quality learning programs to the oil and gas sector.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Training and Business Development Officer (Female)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Managing Director
Industry: Oil & Gas Training & Business Development Company

Overview

  • We’re looking for a smart and self-driven lady to help manage our training operations and grow our client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and bid for training jobs in the oil and gas sector (public and private)
  • Register the company on relevant bidding and procurement platforms (e.g. NIPEX, NCDMB portals)
  • Prepare and submit proposals, EOIs, and technical/commercial bids
  • Maintain a calendar of upcoming tenders, deadlines, and client follow-ups
  • Coordinate logistics for training programs: facilitators, venues, materials, and feedback
  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and business forums
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and industry contacts
  • Assist in developing marketing content (emails, brochures, social media)
  • Track client inquiries, proposals sent, and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Sciences, or related field
  • 2-4 and above years of relevant experience (preferably in oil and gas, training and Development in Banking or consulting)
  • Strong proposal writing and document handling skills
  • Confident, well-spoken, and able to represent the company professionally
  • Must be organized, proactive, and able to multitask Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with NIPEX, NCDMB, and procurement processes in oil and gas
  • Previous experience in training or business development
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
