Lily Hospitals Limited, established since 1986 remains one of the foremost hospitals in Nigeria and within the South-South region of the country. It is the first private hospital in Nigeria to achieve ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certification from the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) and was also recently accredited with COHSASA (Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa) Certificate.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Volunteer

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Volunteer

Job Summary

  • As an HR Volunteer at Lily Hospitals, you will work closely with our HR team and gain hands-on experience across the HR value chain.
  • This opportunity is designed to help you build practical skills, grow your knowledge, and prepare for future roles in HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and selection, including resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain and update HR records, files, and databases.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and training programs.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an HND / B.Sc. degree (preferably in Social Sciences).
  • Completion of NYSC is mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must own a personal laptop.
  • Must reside in Warri, Delta State.

Remuneration
This is an unpaid volunteer position. However, a monthly stipend will be provided to support transportation expenses.
