We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Machine Operator / Technician (Forklifts, Motorized Sweepers, Boom lifts, Heavy Trucks)

Locations: Gbagada, Apapa and Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operators/Technicians with hands-on experience operating and maintaining industrial and heavy-duty equipment including forklifts, sweepers, boomlifts, and heavy trucks.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure safe handling, efficient operations, and basic troubleshooting of assigned machines to support smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate machines such as forklifts, sweepers, boomlifts, and heavy trucks in line with company and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks, routine inspections, and minor preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Report and escalate mechanical faults or safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure proper cleaning, fueling, and storage of equipment after use.
  • Support logistics and site operations by handling loading/unloading, material movements, and specialized lifting.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment use, incidents, and maintenance needs.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 – 5 years’ proven experience operating forklifts, sweepers, boomlifts, and/or heavy trucks.
  • Valid and up-to-date operator’s license/certification for relevant machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to carry out minor repairs/adjustments.
  • Good physical fitness and alertness for safe machine handling.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
