Job Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks to ensure our facility, equipment, and systems are kept in excellent condition.
  • This role requires practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs, painting as well as the ability to troubleshoot and respond to urgent maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Inspect facilities regularly and identify repair and maintenance needs.
  • Assemble, install, or repair furniture, equipment, and appliances.
  • Respond promptly to repair requests and emergency call-outs.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean condition.
  • Work closely with management to schedule preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements & Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
