Job Title: Home Inspector

Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our company.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties, identifying structural, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and safety issues, and preparing clear, detailed inspection reports for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of buildings and properties.
  • Identify and document issues relating to structure, foundation, roofing, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, drainage, and finishing.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for repairs or improvements.
  • Produce detailed, professional inspection reports (including photos and descriptions).
  • Stay updated on relevant building codes, safety standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Certification from a recognized body (e.g., InterNACHI, ASHI, or a relevant Nigerian certification).
  • Background in construction, engineering, building services, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot hidden defects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use inspection tools, moisture meters, and basic testing devices.
