Job Title: Facility Manager

Job Overview

• The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the physical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repairs:

• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan for the nightclub’s physical infrastructure, including HVAC,Generator,Lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime.

Safety and Security:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement safety protocols.
• Collaborate with security and fire safety personnel to maintain a secure and safe environment.

Vendor Management:

• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair work.
• Negotiate service contracts and monitor vendor performance.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an inventory of equipment, supplies, and spare parts necessary for facility maintenance.
• Monitor and replenish stock as needed.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the facility budget, including operational expenses, repairs, and maintenance costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.

Staff Supervision:

• Supervise facility maintenance staff, including custodial and maintenance personnel.
• Schedule and assign tasks to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources.

Environmental Sustainability:

• Implement sustainability practices and initiatives, such as energy-efficient lighting and waste reduction programs.
• Stay informed about environmental regulations and compliance.

Emergency Response:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Train staff on emergency protocols and coordinate responses during incidents.

Facility Upkeep and Appearance:

• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the nightclub’s facilities.
• Oversee renovations or upgrades to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of the venue.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building and safety codes.
• Maintain records and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 1 – 5 years of work experience.
