Unicane Industries FZE is the largest refiner of Ethanol and Soya Oil production in Africa. We’re seeking experienced Professional Accountantsto join our team at our Kogi plant.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant and Account Officer

Location: Jamata Village, Lokoja LGA, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:

  • Management of company’s accounts.
  • Preparing of journal ledger operations.
  • Posting of cash payments and receipts.
  • Completing general ledger operation.
  • Preparation of bank reconciliation statement.
  • Preparation of salaries for staff.
  • Administering accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Handling account/bank reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and processing expense reports.
  • All immigration returns, expatriate quota and every other issue that relates to expatriates.
  • Supervision of admin department.
  • Supervision of store.

Requirements

  • Education: HND or BSc in Accounting, with relevant Professional certification a related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 7years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company.

Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
