Job Title: Restaurant Accountant

Location: Ajah – Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our restaurant team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
  • Monitor daily sales, expenses, and inventory-related financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, pension, and other statutory remittances.
  • Support payroll processing and staff-related financial records.
  • Assist management with budget preparation and cost control.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of proven experience in Accounting (hospitality/restaurant industry is an added advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and statutory deductions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.

Salary
N160,000 Monthly.
