O. A. Avanti Nigeria Limited started operation in 1985 as an enterprise Company – O. A. Avanti General Services, and successfully executed various projects in the manufacturing industry. The success at the enterprise level prompted the incorporation of the company in 2002. Thereafter, the Company has handled structural steel fabrication and machine installation, pipeline fabrication and installation projects with various companies of diverse products such as Flour, Cement, Sugar, Oil and Gas as main contractors and sometimes as subcontractors to many international companies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounting Officer

Location: Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to handle day-to-day financial activities, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the company’s accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Handle monthly bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
  • Manage tax filing, PAYE, VAT, and other statutory remittances.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Support in preparing budgets and expense reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper filing of all financial transactions.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies when necessary.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / BSc in Accounting or related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must reside within Ota
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and good communication skills.

Salary
N70,000 – N90,000 monthly
