Mercatura services ranges from Mercatura School of Technology, Mercatech Hub, Mercatura Online Shop and Mercatura ICT which are designed to handle different ICT need based solutions to better the lives of Nigerians. Our mission is to leverage on technology to solve need based problems faced daily by the society.

Through the Mercatura School of Technology we have trained over 8,000 Nigerian youths for over 3years using our non-tuition fee online self-paced learning method with thousands of them certified and now fully employed afterwards in different organisations.
We are already training NYSC corp members in various tech courses across Nigeria to prepare them to be employable in the digital economic space.
Our Tech Sisters free tech training for African women have trained hundreds of women in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and other parts of Africa for over 2 years which are all verifiable.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Remote Tech Instructor

Job Role Description

• The Tech Instructor position is a part-time, remote role for web development Instructor, data analytics instructor, UI/UX instructor, graphic design instructor, project management instructor, data science instructor, python programming instructor, Microsoft Excel instructor, digital marketing instructor, cyber security instructor, database management instructor, virtual assistant instructor and AI video production instructor.
• The Instructor will be responsible for developing course lesson plans and teaching the lessons in preparing pre-recorded video lessons and holding virtual live class sessions for students who need further assistance.
• The instructor will understand students learning progress, offer feedback, and help slow learners to complete their lessons.
• The instructor is to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in tech education and expose students to participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Criteria for Selection

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field in the course to teach with 1-10 years experience
• Proficiency in any of the tech courses stated above with minimum of one year practical online teaching experience practice.
• Participate in a 2-weeks micro teaching exercise with your personalized registered students who will testify of your teaching impact.
• Must have a computer, smartphone and handset gadgets with a strong internet connection.
• Demonstrate a strong communication ability
• Have a strong passion for technology education advancement in Nigeria
• Be online tech savvy
• Have experience in teaching tech either offline or online and with young adults

Salary
N50,000 – N100,000 / Month.
