Job Description

  • Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust and owners of Trust TV, Trust Radio and other titles, is one of Nigeria’s leading multimedia companies. We are looking for a highly competent, motivated, and results-driven IT Support to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate should have a solid background in information technology, with strong expertise in computer systems, networking, and software applications.
  • This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the organization’s IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
As IT Support, the candidate will:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
  • Provide technical support to staff, ensuring prompt resolution of IT-related challenges.
  • Implement and maintain IT security measures, including data backups, antivirus management, and access controls.
  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support.
  • Proven technical proficiency in computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Sound understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity, and best IT practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) will be an added advantage.
