Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network & Cybersecurity Presales Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication and solution design skills to support the sales process and deliver best-fit network and cybersecurity solutions to clients.
  • You will play a key role in understanding client requirements, designing secure network architectures, demonstrating product capabilities, and collaborating with the sales and implementation teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities in networking and cybersecurity domains.
  • Engage with clients to gather technical requirements and design tailored security and network solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to customers.
  • Design and validate secure network architectures (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, Firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, and Wireless).
  • Recommend, size, and scope cybersecurity solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, email/web security, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Perform technical assessments and gap analyses to identify security risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support bid responses, RFPs, and technical documentation, including BoQs, diagrams, and solution architectures.
  • Partner with OEM vendors (Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto, etc.) for technical enablement and solution validation.
  • Assist post-sales teams in smooth project handover and provide technical advisory when required.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in networking, cloud security, zero trust, and threat intelligence.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and cybersecurity presales or technical consulting.
  • Strong understanding of network design, routing/switching, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and network security principles.
  • Experience with firewall and security technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWall, Sophos, or Palo Alto.
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid security architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in network and security assessment tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nessus, Nmap, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus — CCNA Security, Fortinet NSE 4+, Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
