Job Title: Central Battery Charging Bay Attendant

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The Central Battery Charging Bay Attendant is responsible for the daily management of EV fleet batteries in the warehouse pending activation.
  • The role ensures all batteries are removed from bikes, charged to required levels, and returned in good condition to maintain optimal State of Charge (SOC) and battery health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily charging operations for batteries awaiting activation
  • Remove batteries from bikes pending activation, charge them to standard SOC levels, and return them once charging is complete
  • Monitor and record battery performance, including SOC, voltage, and health indicators
  • Report any faults, irregularities, or safety concerns to the technical supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe charging bay at all times
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for handling and charging lithium batteries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of O-level
  • Basic technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines accurately
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining equipment in good condition.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle batteries and perform light maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in a technical support role is a plus.
