We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction of buildings, equipment foundations, silos, tanks, utility structures, roads, drains, and landscaping.
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, and coordinate with consultants for modifications.
- Prepare BOQs, material requirements, and ensure quality control of construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.).
- Prepare the AutoCAD drawing as per need basis.
- Monitor contractor performance, labor management, and daily site progress.
- Ensure civil works are completed as per engineering standards and project timelines.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical project teams for equipment erection and service trench alignments.
- Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and progress records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards on site.
- Assist in vendor/contractor evaluation and certification.
- Support project commissioning by completing all civil activities on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5 years experience in civil project execution in process industries
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of structural design, RCC, steel structures, foundation works, and industrial buildings.
- Strong site execution skills and ability to supervise contractors.
