We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Civil Foreman
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Reports to: Head of Project Operations
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily civil works including structural, masonry, and finishing activities.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance.
- Liaise with engineers and project managers to resolve site issues.
- Monitor tools, equipment, and materials for efficient usage.
- Enforce safety measures and ensure site cleanliness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- 5+ years’ experience as a civil foreman in construction or interior design projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Leadership and team coordination skills.
Success Metrics:
- Civil works delivered within set timelines and budgets.
- Less than 5% rework required due to errors or non-compliance.
- Strict adherence to construction drawings and specifications.
- High productivity and efficiency of assigned workers.
