Job Description

African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state—the first of its kind in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Turbine Generator (TG) / Boiler DCS Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing the operation of the Turbine Generator (TG) and Boiler systems through the Distributed Control System (DCS).
  • Ensures safe, reliable, and efficient power generation in accordance with operational procedures and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor TG and Boiler parameters through DCS.
  • Optimize load dispatch and ensure stable operation under varying conditions.
  • Identify and respond promptly to system alarms and trips.
  • Coordinate with field operators for equipment start-up, shutdown, and load changes.
  • Maintain operational logs and shift reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all plant safety and environmental compliance standards.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of abnormal plant conditions.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams for planned and unplanned outages.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / HND in Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years in TG/Boiler DCS operation and maintenance within a power plant or heavy industrial utility environment.
