We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)

Location: Gujeni Village, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To learn and support electrical maintenance and operation activities in the plant, gaining hands-on experience in equipment handling, troubleshooting, and industrial power systems for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintenance and inspection of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and MCC panels.
  • Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults.
  • Observe and learn safe operating procedures, isolation practices, and maintenance protocols.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance schedules and record daily maintenance activities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities to supervisors.
  • Assist in energy monitoring, load management, and basic electrical testing.
  • Learn the use of tools, testing instruments, and maintenance documentation systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • B.Eng. or HND in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience (industrial internship or NYSC experience preferred).
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, and safety standards.
  • Eagerness to learn, with good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic electrical drafting tools is an advantage.
