We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Shift In-Charge – Electrical
Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Leads and supervises the entire power plant operation during the assigned shift, ensuring reliable and efficient power generation and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all plant operations during the shift.
- Ensure continuous and safe operation of TG/Boiler units.
- Plan and execute operational strategies during normal and abnormal conditions.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for smooth plant performance.
- Approve switching and isolation procedures.
- Review shift logs, issue daily reports, and communicate critical issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Mentor and guide operational staff.
Requirements
- HND qualification or B.Eng / B.Tech Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within a power, mining, or heavy industrial plant.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, motor control circuits, transformers, and troubleshooting of electrical faults during shifts.
Salary
N600,000 / Month.
