We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: TG / Boiler Operator
Location: Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- Responsible for the safe and efficient field operation of turbines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment under the guidance of the DCS Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor TG/Boiler systems and auxiliaries in the field.
- Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, and normal operations as per instructions.
- Take regular equipment readings and report abnormalities.
- Assist in isolations and tagging for maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to the control room.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the plant area.
Requirements
- OND, HND, or B.Eng/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Plant Engineering.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in boiler and turbine operation within a power or heavy industrial plant.
- Sound knowledge of DCS operation, plant start-up/shutdown, and boiler safety procedures.
