Job Title: School House Parent (Male / Female)

Location: Idanre, Ondo

Position Summary

  • We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Male and Female House Parents to join our boarding team.
  • The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare, discipline, and well-being of students in the hostel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily care, supervision, and discipline of boarding students.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and family-like atmosphere in the hostel.
  • Monitor students’ personal hygiene, health, and general well-being.
  • Support students in developing life skills, social responsibility, and respect for others.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, health issues, and conduct.
  • Liaise with academic and administrative staff to ensure consistent support for students.
  • Enforce hostel rules and routines while maintaining positive relationships with students.
  • Respond promptly to students’ needs, emergencies, and welfare concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of OND / NCE / Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Guidance & Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with adolescents in a boarding school or youth setting is an advantage.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and good moral standing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to serve as a positive role model to students.
  • Must be willing to reside full-time in the school’s hostel.

Remuneration
Attractive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
