Job Title: LPG Station Supervisor
Location: Onitsha, Anambra State, South-East
Department: Operations / Retail
Reports To: LPG Station Manager
Role Summary
- The LPG Station Supervisor is responsible for the direct, on-shift supervision of all station operations, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed, operational targets are met, and customer service standards are maintained.
- This is a hands-on leadership role focused on compliance, process execution, and team management during operations shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards through supervision, toolbox talks, and routine site inspections.
- Lead emergency response actions and ensure readiness of emergency shutdown (ESD) and firefighting systems.
- Oversee daily filling and dispensing operations, ensuring equipment functionality and operational safety.
- Manage LPG fillers to ensure operations and activities are carried out in line with SOPs and best standard practices.
- Ensure product quality control and coordinate routine maintenance tasks with shift operators.
- Monitor bulk LPG levels and reconcile product movement against sales records.
- Manage cylinder inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper segregation of defective units.
- Assign and supervise shift duties, provide training, and maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Handle documentation, resolve customer service issues, and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of National Diploma (ND) or equivalent in a technical or business-related field.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of proven supervisory experience, preferably in an Oil & Gas, LPG, or high-risk retail environment.
- Certifications in basic Fire Fighting, First Aid, and HSE (e.g., NEBOSH/OSHA equivalent) are highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, accountability, communication, and basic computer skills.
