Job Title: Finance Analyst (Madison & Park)

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Financial Analyst at Madison & Park, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting key financial decisions.
  • You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health of the organization and contribute to its overall success.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budget variances.
  • Create and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in financial metrics.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular reports to department heads.
  • Work with department managers to understand and manage their budgets effectively.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and assess financial performance.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Cost Analysis:

  • Analyze project costs and profitability to optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost control.

Client Billing and Revenue Recognition:

  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing based on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Assist in revenue recognition processes in compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting,
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a marketing, advertising or procurement setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
