Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, maintenance, and operations within the Oil & Gas or related industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for plant equipment.
  • Ensure optimal performance and reliability of rotating and static equipment.
  • Supervise engineering projects, including equipment commissioning and upgrades.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Analyze equipment failures and recommend effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless plant operations.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in well structures manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, heat exchangers, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
  • Proficiency in engineering software and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
  • COREN registration or membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
