Job Title: Marine Superintendent

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-Time

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to oversee vessel operations, ensure compliance with international safety standards, and manage maintenance coordination within our maine fleet.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and a proven record of operational excellence in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate vessel inspection, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with flag state, class, and international safety regulations (ISM, ISPS, MARPOL).
  • Oversee crew management and performance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct vessel audits, safety drills, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the operations and HSE teams to maintain optimal safety and performance standards.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and ensure cost-effective fleet operations.

Qualification and Experience

  • Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree in Marine Engineering
  • COREN Registered Engineer
  • STCW III/2 Certification
  • Core Competence in Vessel Inspection, Maintenance Coordination, & Safety Compliance
