We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Communications Volunteer

Role Overview

  • We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Communications volunteer to join our communications team!
  • This volunteer will help design, curate, and distribute monthly newsletters that inform, inspire, and engage our community including mentees, alumni, and partners.
  • If you love writing, digital storytelling, and finding creative ways to connect people through words and visuals, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send monthly newsletters to IHA’s mailing lists (general, partners, and alumni).
  • Use platforms such as Zoho Campaigns and Substack to design and distribute our engaging newsletters.
  • Collaborate with the IHA team to develop creative content ideas for our newsletter from community highlights to inspiring stories and practical resources.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Track and report key engagement metrics (opens, clicks, subscriptions) and suggest ways to boost subscriber growth.
  • Stay updated on newsletter and digital marketing trends to improve audience engagement and reach.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating newsletters or writing digital content (preferably on Zoho and, Substack, or similar).
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a knack for making content informative and fun.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for visuals, layout, and audience engagement.
  • Self-driven and organized, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Passionate about women’s empowerment, leadership, and personal development.
