Job Title: Head of Compliance and Internal Control

Job Summary
- As the Head of compliance and Internal Control you will ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, strengthening the internal control environment, and leading the Bank’s Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of internal control systems across all operational areas of the Bank
- Ensure timely rendition of all statutory and regulatory returns to relevant bodies including the CBN, NDIC, and FIU
- Monitor regulatory updates and changes, and ensure timely and effective communication and implementation within the Bank
- Oversee the Bank’s KYC, AML/CFT, and transaction monitoring programs
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance and control-related matters
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, examinations, and inspections.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Additional certification such as Microfinance Certified Professional (MCP) will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and internal control functions, within the financial services or microfinance sector is required.
- Strong knowledge of CBN regulatory framework, KYC, AML/CFT, and statutory reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Salary
N400,000 – N450,000 monthly.
