Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and staff performance.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven experience in kitchen management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate must reside close to or within Rumudara, Port Harcourt.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, request supplies, and minimize food waste.
  • Coordinate meal preparation schedules to meet service demands.
  • Train and motivate kitchen staff to maintain productivity and professionalism.
  • Report any maintenance, equipment, or operational issues promptly.
  • Support management in menu planning and cost control measures.
  • Uphold discipline, punctuality, and teamwork within the kitchen team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Catering, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory or senior kitchen role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Salary
N100,000 / Month.
