We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Baker

Location: Femapp Estate, Age – Mowo, Badagry Expressway – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We’re seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Baker to lead our bakery team.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in baking, decorating, and managing a bakery operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Baking and Decorating: Prepare and bake high-quality bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods. Decorate cakes and pastries to meet customer expectations.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train bakery staff, including bakers, decorators, and assistants. Ensure all team members follow recipes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Recipe Development: Develop and test new recipes to stay up-to-date with trends and customer preferences.
  • Quality Control*: Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards, are fresh, and presented attractively.
  • Inventory Management: Order ingredients, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
  • Bakery Operations: Oversee daily bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers, handle complaints, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Experience in baking and decorating, preferably in a commercial bakery setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent baking and decorating skills, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
