We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidates would ensure timely and safe delivery, maintain assigned vehicles in good condition, and support operational efficiency for a fast-paced confectionery and quick service restaurant business.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery:

  • Safely transport bakery/confectionery products, raw materials, and staff to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of items to outlets, customers, and vendors.
  • Load and unload goods as required, ensuring products are handled carefully to avoid damage.

Vehicle Maintenance & Documentation:

  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults immediately.
  • Ensure vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition.
  • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents (insurance, roadworthiness, licenses) are valid and up to date.

Operational Support:

  • Assist the logistics and production departments in delivery planning and dispatch.
  • Follow scheduled routes and time plans; communicate delays promptly.
  • Maintain proper stock delivery notes and collect necessary signatures on delivery.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company driving policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company products and information.
  • Handle items with hygiene and safety consciousness suitable for food-related operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum SSCE certificate.
  • 2–4years driving experience, preferably in QSR, retail, FMCG, courier, or logistics.
  • Valid Lagos State driver’s license; LASDRI certification is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic laws.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Physically fit and able to lift goods when required.
