We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Tractor Driver

Location:  Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Agriculture / Manufacturing / Logistics (as applicable)
Reports To: Farm Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Driver to operate and maintain tractors and other agricultural or industrial machinery to support daily operations.
  • The ideal candidate should have prior experience driving tractors, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors and related equipment safely and efficiently for farming, landscaping, or hauling activities.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on the tractor (fuel, oil, tire pressure, brakes, etc.) before use.
  • Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials or agricultural products.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company operational procedures.
  • Keep records of tractor use, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Follow assigned schedules and work plans from the supervisor.
  • Support general site or farm activities when not operating the tractor.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE / WAEC certificate.
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) as a tractor driver or in a similar equipment operation role.
  • Valid driver’s license and/or tractor operation certification.
  • Good understanding of tractor operation, maintenance, and safety standards.
  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
  • Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate nearby.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
  • Team player with a good work ethic and punctuality.
