Job Description

  • The Fund Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all investment decisions vis-à-vis settlement of trades on the Funds are carried out whilst ensuring that proper controls have been put in place.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare settlement instructions based on investment decisions to the Custodians and ensure completeness.
  • Upload the price list gotten into the system.
  • Posting and execution of other trades and investments transactions across funds under management.
  • Daily reports and cash reconciliation, assets reconciliation, payments and transfers out of funds and monthly reconciliation of the fund’s portfolio to the Custodians position.

Qualifications

  • University Degree inFinance and Accounting, and ACCA or ICAN or CIMA certification

Experience Required:

  • 3-4 year’s experience in Finance with product knowledge, effective communication, advanced Microsoft office skills – Excel, Word.
