We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • An account officer manages a company’s financial records by handling accounts payable and receivable, processing transactions, and reconciling accounts.
  • They also prepare financial reports, assist with budgeting and audits, ensure legal and tax compliance, and analyze financial data to support decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial record-keeping: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Accounts payable and receivable: Processing invoices, managing payments, and billing clients.
  • Account reconciliation: Matching company records with bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Financial analysis: Tracking expenses and profits, identifying trends, and preparing reports for management.

Compliance and reporting:

  • Audit support: Providing necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Budgeting: Preparing and monitoring budgets to ensure the company stays on track financially.
  • Tax preparation: Calculating taxes owed and preparing tax returns.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 5 years work experience.
