Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited, manufactures of lubricating oil for internal combustion engines and mechanical systems.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Officer (Ibadan Depot)

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

About the role

  • We are seeking a dilligent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team at Ibadan Depot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and inventory records, ensuring proper documentation and reporting of all depot transactions, and supporting depot operations in line with established accounting principles and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Accounting Principles and financial documentation.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of Inventory Management and apply same to daily depot operations.
  • Effectively carry out the reconciliation of stock variances and investigate discrepancies where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions within the depot, including sales, expenses, and inventory movements.
  • Work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision to achieve operational and reporting targets.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all financial and inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to uphold company policies, internal controls, and audit standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a depot, manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professional ethics.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ibadan.

Salary
N120,000 – N180,000 per month.
