Superior Pharmaceuticals started in Florida, United States 2004 as a retail pharmacy under the name of Superior Pharmacy of Temple Terrace. It grew rapidly and within three years, it was well known and respected in the community and within its peers. It served the community well since inception till 2011 when it relocated to Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Account Manager will be responsible for the overall supervision of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirement
  • This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Job Description

  • Oversee all daily accounting operations and ensure proper financial recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage creditors, debtors, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure healthy cash flow.
  • Supervise invoicing, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely remittance of all statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).
  • Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain effective internal control systems and financial policies.
  • Supervise and guide accounting officers, cashiers, and other finance support staff.

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
