Swift Consulting Limited – Our client in the Oil and Gas sector is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Major Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  • Support external audits and provide required documentation.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
