Job Description
The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA) is a new Nigerian federal university in Ogun State, established in 2023 to train healthcare professionals. It has received accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and aims to be a leader in medical education and research with a patient-centered approach.

Job Title: Deputy Bursar

Requirements
- Candidates must have First Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other related fields with a minimum grade of Second-Class Lower Division. Professional fellowship or membership of recognized professional accounting bodies (eg, ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, ACA, CPA) is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years post qualification work experience in a University Accounting system or comparable institutions with at least five (5) years relevant cognate experience in a senior financial role (e.g. Chief Accountant or equivalent).
- Possession of Postgraduate Diploma Degree in relevant field will be added advantage. Candidates must also possess excellent integrity, transparency, strong financial controls orientation, ICT/Accounting software competence.
Salary
