Job Summary

  • The Officer, Finance & Accounting plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of healthcare facilities.
  • This position is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting budgetary processes to enhance resource allocation and financial sustainability.
  • By providing timely financial insights and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, the role directly contributes to the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls, mitigating financial risks.
  • Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial processes.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to audit requirements.
