We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Floor Attendant

Location: Abuja FCT)

Job Summary

  • The Floor Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a pleasant and seamless shopping experience for customers.
  • The role involves assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining an organized and appealing sales floor, monitoring product displays, and ensuring shelves are properly stocked and maintained.
  • This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance:

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product information and assist customers in locating items on the sales floor.
  • Ensure a positive and helpful shopping experience for every customer.

Stocking and Display Management

  • Arrange and replenish products on shelves and displays, maintaining neatness and visual appeal.
  • Ensure all products are stocked following the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.

Shelf and Product Maintenance:

  • Rotate stock regularly, ensuring older items are placed in front.
  • Check for correct pricing, product expiration, and remove expired or damaged goods.

Store Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Keep the sales floor, aisles, and product displays tidy, clean, and clutter-free at all times.

Inventory Monitoring:

  • Monitor product levels on shelves and promptly report low stock or shortages to the supervisor.

Product Knowledge and Company Policy:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and company policies to assist customers effectively.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to support daily store operations and achieve performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.
  • Previous experience in retail, supermarket, or customer service roles is an added advantage.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to identify and resolve stock or display issues promptly.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle stocking duties.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist others.
