Job Title: Electrical Designer

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our team, responsible for designing and planning the electrical infrastructure for industrial and commercial projects, including manufacturing industries and building complexes.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and planning the connection of electricity from transformers to buildings, offices, and houses, as well as planning power supply capacity and power distribution systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and plan electrical infrastructure for industrial and commercial projects, including manufacturing industries and building complexes
  • Develop single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and power distribution plans
  • Plan and design the connection of electricity from transformers to buildings, offices, and houses
  • Determine power supply capacity and design power distribution systems for buildings and industries
  • Create detailed electrical designs, including panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards, including Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) regulations
  • Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation and troubleshoot electrical issues.

Requirements

  • HND / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design and planning
  • Proficiency in electrical design software, including AutoCAD, Eplan, or Dialux
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NERC regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Age Range: 22-45 years.

Salary
N200,000 – N500,000 monthly (based on experience).
