An indigenous oil and gas company is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Job Summary

• The Cook will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of dishes while ensuring hygiene, taste, and presentation standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and meet hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in food inventory management.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
• Follow food safety and kitchen sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in planning daily menus and suggesting creative meal options.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification in Catering or Food Preparation.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.
• Knowledge of Nigerian and Continental dishes is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during peak hours.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for quality food service.

• Time management and multitasking ability.
