Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full time

Summary

  • We are seeking a Chartered Accountant to support our Finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with IFRS, and effective management of company assets and liabilities.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in the oil & gas or engineering sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification – ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ accounting experience, preferably in oil & gas, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
