Job Title: Accountant / Auditor
Location: Asaba, Delta
Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Auditor to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for performing financial accounting, auditing, and financial analysis tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to management
- Identify and correct errors or discrepancies in financial records
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits
- Provide training and support to accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and auditing
- Professional certification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
