ROLAN Farms is a diversified agricultural enterprise located in Ondo Town, Nigeria. The farm specializes in livestock production, including piggery, heliculture (snail farming), poultry, and fishery as well as greenhouse vegetable cultivation and a climate-smart demonstration plot for training and innovation. The farm is committed to sustainable food production, improved animal welfare, profitability, and the adoption of modern farming technologies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Farm Manager will provide leadership, technical expertise, operational oversight, and strategic direction across all livestock and crop units.
  • The role includes overseeing production planning, supervising staff, managing farm resources, ensuring animal health and welfare, coordinating crop and greenhouse operations, maintaining farm facilities, and ensuring profitable, climate-smart, and sustainable production.
  • The ideal candidate should be result-driven, well-organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about modern agricultural techniques.
  • The candidate will be responsible for Farm operations management, Livestock production oversight, Staff supervision and training, resource and inventory management, Financial and administrative duties, proper farm maintenance, innovation, quality improvement and sustainability as well as stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years experience.
  • The candidate must have proven experience in pigs, poultry, fishery and greenhouse vegetable production.
  • The candidate must have strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem solving abilities, strong communication skills and proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Additional training in agribusiness management, animal husbandry, greenhouse management or fishery is an added advantage.
  • The candidate must reside within Ondo town and must be ready to resume immediately after confirmation of employment.
