Job Title: Design Architect

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Design Architect is responsible for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing architectural designs for the company’s projects.
• This role involves developing concept designs, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, and ensuring that all designs meet regulatory standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs, sketches, and 3D models for new architectural projects.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and construction documents using CAD and design software.
• Translate project requirements and management briefs into practical, buildable designs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Research and recommend materials, finishes, and architectural trends suitable for each project.
• Present design concepts and project proposals to management or clients.
• Revise designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of design files, drawings, and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in architectural design or construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or other architectural design tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices

Work Conditions:

• Role requires both office-based design work and occasional site visits.
• May involve working under tight deadlines depending on project needs.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
