Rickmen Healthcare limited is a pharmaceuticals and Distribution Company, that deals with pharmaceuticals, fertility products, diagnostics and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time, Office-based

Job Summary

  • The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.
  • This role involves preparing financial records, analyzing financial data, maintaining accounts, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts, reconcile bank statements, and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Monitor financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are within budget guidelines.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
  • Implement and maintain effective accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ICAN, CPA) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
