They are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for proposed projects.
- Manage tender processes, including preparation of tender documents, analysis of bids, and recommendations for award.
- Administer contracts, value work in progress, certify payments, and manage variations and claims.
- Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost forecasts to ensure projects remain within approved limits.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
- Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and provide reports to senior management.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 10 years proven post-qualification experience in quantity surveying, with significant project leadership responsibility.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with QSRBN and/or NIQS is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and current market rates.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying / cost management software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
